On September 25th Paihia School did cross country

at bledsloe.First we ran around the field.Then we jumped over a gate and went up the hill to the finish line.After the race I felt so happy and puffed out.

Amazing authors create poems

In Te Maunga we have been learning about language features in poems. I learnt about imagery that is saying what it smells, sounds, taste, feels and looks like.  

Dino-rama

 n Te Maunga we have been doing dinorama and in our dinorama we did a plan then we said it then after we got to paint.  We got some moss for long grass and we got playdough to make are Titanobboa and we put sticks and moss in for trees.

Soundscape

 In Te Maunga we have been doing soundscape and in our soundscape we got a sheet to plan what we are going to be doing and  I got sticks for a broken back and we used rice for rain and we got cardboard tubes for wind. Then we put it all together and found an image for  it.  It sounded so cool

 In Te Maunga

we have been doing kawa of care. If you were eating by your Chromebook or drinking by it you might spill your drink on your Chromebook and you might spill your crumbs on it. If the teachers are wiping the table and your Chromebook case is open and they lift it up with one hand it will fall out of the case and it might break.    

Kindness letter

In Te Maunga we have been doing kindness letters. In lock down I went for walks on the beach.

Viruses

In Te Maunga we have been learning about bacteria. I have learned that it could be good or bad. It helps the gut to break down food
